An old but a goody! We redesigned NPR.org to capture the full breadth of NPR content. Embedded audio and full transcripts along with related content allowed listeners a truly "deep dive".
Tasked with making something visual that has historically been exclusively audible was the challenge. We created an enhanced visual design and experience that brought to life what NPR should look and feel like
The trusted NPR brand brings traffic to the site but it’s the programs that act as the foundation. Program pages act as an enhanced version of the on air experience while allowing users access to archived stories.
Core to the site was the ability to explore stories through enhanced multimedia, audio, and video. This 360 degree experience of stories lead to increased discoverability of not only program content but also the full NPR experience.
